Just finished replacing all the coil packs as one had failed causing a nice misfire intermitantly. What a difference, engine is now nice and smooth again with a bunch more horses throughout the rev range. Happy day!!!

After a few weeks of my kenwood unit deciding to cut out and lose all memory every time a bump was hit, I decided to investigate the problem. it could just be the guard rubbing on the rear drake disc. Mine had a similar noise and it turned out a spot of offroading had marginally bent the guard behind the disc so as speed the airflow pushed it to just touch the disc. Worth a look.

Well, took out the dash, reseated all the connectors, changed the bulbs behind the odometer and all seems to be working fine. Did the Odometer check and no problems with the cluster. All seems to be working now although the speedo is a big sluggish. The fuel guage seems stuck at zero with the orange light on but I suspect a dodgy flaot sensor in the tank. Ill give it a thrash on the way home to see if I can loose it up.

Driving into work this morning, all the instruments stopped working. Petrol quage went yellow and read 19 miles left even though I filled up last night. Speedo stuck at 55mph, Tacho reading 2000 revs but does drift up and down sluggishly. Temp gauge ok I think. I have disconnected the battery at wor...
