$35k - $42k, based on a Z4 2.5 auto ($36k for a 3.0, they don't sell anything smaller in the US now, according to bmwusa.com) If the price of a Z4M drops to £20k when they are 3yrs old and the conversion is £5k - £10k, I'd seriously consider it. There's nowt wrong with a properly built kit car. Afte...

This may sound daft, but read on to follow the logic. I judge my motorway driving by the number of times I use my brakes. I don't drive slowly  , but I very rarely use my brakes because I am anticipating what the cars around me are going to do. If there are brake lights coming on a mile in ...

Insurance is getting cheaper - Am I getting too old?
Last year the best price I could find was £527.25 (41yr old, 330 CI Sport Conv, Parked on Driveway, 8yrs NCB). That was with Sainsbury's (got Nectar points as well :) ). I was quite happy with that. I was expecting £500 to renew, so was pleasantly surprised to be quoted £473.37 from Sainsbury for th...

Bugatti Veyron = 2 months wages to a top Premiership player (gross). Net they probably get £50,000 a week. That would make it 16 weeks wages, so I doubt that even a footballer could afford a Veyron. #cue, photo of Beckham next to his Veyron# Would be interested to know whose it is, though. Lucky sod.

Once you've been paid out, the car belongs to the insurance company and you never know if it's been found.
