I suggest you PM Jules75 [EDIT: you beat me to it] and Nero, unless they reply on the thread. I'd suggest Kendal to Penrith to Jct 42 M6. Carry on M6 to Jct 44, then either take A7 to Edinburgh, or head towards Glasgow on either the A75/A76 ot the M74 with the intention of driving on the B7040, B797...

Fantastic screensaver. Haven't told the kids, but it's on their computer. Hope they like the show. BTW, have they found a new way to assemble engines? All the engines I've ever put together had to have the pistons and conrods put in from the top. That, using instantly connecting chains, and not need...

Apologies for the red herring (and the stress no doubt) Just to clarify, as I now understand it... Your car only gets categorised if it is written off. This seems strange to me as I would want to know if my future purchase had been repaired. I suppose the theory is - if is repaired by a reputable ag...

General Tip... Take photos of the damage before it is repaired and immediately after (with dates on the pictures). The reason is that you now have a Cat D (possibly Cat C) car and the value when you come to sell will be affected. Photo evidence may allay the fears of some future buyers. Don't forget...

I saw a new MX5 in work's car park today and thought it was a Cappuccino at first.
I think the new MX is about 2 inches too short.
BTW, I've driven a "Cheeky Chappy" and upto 50mph it was fantastic, so it might be worth considering.
Gutless above 50 though.

I don't see how they could justify not insuring a car without an MOT or tax. Sure, if you are involved in an accident while driving a car without either that is fair enough but if a car is parked at its registered address is should be insured to whatever level you pay for. I agree with what you say...

I agree with burmagirl. I did the job myself and it took about three hours and I had to take off the rear storage box. The price was £114 + VAT for the bits. Were you in the silver 1.9 Z3 when I overtook the bronze / yellow Volvo? I overtook it just outside of Nateby, then overtook you through a caravan campsite.
