General Tip... Take photos of the damage before it is repaired and immediately after (with dates on the pictures). The reason is that you now have a Cat D (possibly Cat C) car and the value when you come to sell will be affected. Photo evidence may allay the fears of some future buyers. Don't forget...

Serious point.

My wife has changed her phone so that the ringtone you hear when you ring her is music, and not the usual ringing.

This confuses the software at the call centre and she no longer gets cold calls.

One observation (opinion): I think the red top looks better when the A pillars are red as well.

One question: Is a Dutch ///M different to a UK ///M. The Dutch one looks like a standard Z3, but with 4 exhausts.

No they weren't Lambo doors - they hinged on the A pillar. There was a gas strut in the normal hinge position that held the door open.

Men & Motors had a good prog on before ScumBall which had an M3 with hydraulically adjustible suspension and a Fiat Punto with doors that hinged on the A pillar. All those pictures are tame in comparison.

I saw a new MX5 in work's car park today and thought it was a Cappuccino at first. :shock:

I think the new MX is about 2 inches too short.

BTW, I've driven a "Cheeky Chappy" and upto 50mph it was fantastic, so it might be worth considering.

Gutless above 50 though.

I don't see how they could justify not insuring a car without an MOT or tax. Sure, if you are involved in an accident while driving a car without either that is fair enough but if a car is parked at its registered address is should be insured to whatever level you pay for. Only just off thread a little. I think the new E46 multi changer plays mp3s as well. Unfortunately, mine is pre facelft :(

If you can get a facelifted E46 multichanger you may be able to change the wiring, and then you'll have over 1,000 hours of music.

I think tramlining is a BMW "characteristic" :head: . I noticed it badly in the Z3 and to a lesser extent in the 330.

I've heard that strut braces are good at reducing it. Any strut brace owners back this up?

Hi there,

I used to have one. It does fit on so the clips are inboard. This allows you access to the little cubby hole.

It does click forwards (and if memory serves, it also clicks upright and back).

I don't think there is any fault with your wind deflector.
