Hi Tom. Firstly if you have been starting the car and not driving it to normal temperature then you have just a condensation problem, assuming the white smoke was from the exhaust. I had that problem last year and now i dont start the car all winter.

Best place is e-bay. they will cost you anything up to £200. You will also see a pic of them on the e-bay advert, they are just a bracket with a hole in the top to drop in the hard top

Gday mate. Firstly you need to make sure you have the stronger bolts for the vanos, and when you are doing that you can change all the rubbers and seals , you can get a pack to service it. If you have no growl then you dont have any other problem, as worn splines etc will require a bigger job. i had...

According to dvla since spring 2011 even if your car is sorned is is compulsary to be insured, so where does Alfies quote about his insurers leave us

So what they are saying is if you have a limited mileage policy, when you have covered that mileage you are no longer insured as it will be off the road. Surely the insurance covers the car on and off the road.

Its only if you are showing your car it has to be there by 10am if you are parking up like most of us you can go in anytime. (Taken from a message by the bmw secretary to myself).

I had my wheels off twice to clean all the suspension and springs with wd 40. the place you will see a problem is where the stones hit the lip next to the wheel arch. i am going to fill the small gap between them with black silicone to stop the water, (thats from washing the car by the way not, rain...

The boot struts are to stop the boot closing on you , it does not lift the boot up, you have to do it manually , i think a rolls royce opens on its own if that helps :wink

You can swap the bulbs, all you have to do is make sure they are the same size as the one you are replacing. Measure it and get one from e-bay or is it a black one you want
