Ours is a 2001 2.2i. In the UK this would probably be worth £4500-5000, but as we are in France and it's a LHD, French prices apply and it appears to be worth 9000€ +.

You've just chosen the worst option. If the car is stolen, you will lose your money, as it will be returned to the correct owner.

If it's not, then you will have pissed off the garage, and they won't be disposed to help.

Did it affect the performance? Did you notice a difference after you replaced it?

Can someone confirm this is part 13.54.1.438.759 for a 2001 2.2i

Some cars keep the look and others just fade away, or the stylists get hold of them and ruin the shape. e.g triumph spitfire, subaru impreza.

This one will stay cool I think, but I can't afford one (150K ! )

NO

The Z-4 design has gone stale now in the way that the new beetle and TT went a while back.

Z-3 is timeless and will always be appreciated for its' looks, rather like old Astons, Lancia Stratos, etc, etc..

If it increases in pitch (frequency) as you go faster it could well be the diff.

CV and universal joints give a knock-knock at very low speed.

There's a lot of other style clues in that one.

From the front, and the sweep of the bonnet there's something 911-like. The rear is as you say a bit Alfa, and also some Fiat feeling. The side view of the arches has some Stratos too.

Thanks for finding this. Interesting.
