Re: Help / Advice needed
The S50 is perfectly well house trained and will happily pootle around at low revs (up to about 3.5K) without alarming you or your passenger. Its the wave of power over 4k up to 7ish that is likely to invlove an unplanned visit to the scenery on a greasy road, especially if you don't have the wheels...

Re: Wanted Headlight washer
I have this on my M and I'm pretty sure that the windscreen washer jets (not he headlight ones) are also heated so I have always thought that this was the package as an extra from new.
There is a wire going under the bonnet soundproofing toward the washers and they steam if I use them in the cold.

I spotted a metallic grey 03 Reg. 2.2 Z3 sports (I think) whilst driving my wifes Mini down the North Cray Road on Monday 15th lunchtime. (It went off down the A2 coast bound). If that was you then the car looks great, 18" clean multi spoke wheels, and a nice subtle boot lip spoiler on it as we...

I am having some trouble locating a pre facelift heated rear window switch. Go to a diferent dealer. I literally bought one single front hard top bolt yesterday from my local BMW main dealer and they got it in within 3 hours at a cost of £9 I think.
Ridiculous for one bolt but they are a bit special looking (bolt not dealer).

No shortage here in North West Kent. One of my neighbours would have bought my old green 2.8 but missed out and then got himself a very tidy black 2.2 that is often parked right outside my house. There's another less well cared for black 2.8 about 500m away so I see one or two every day.
