Water beading on the roof really isn't important, any heavy rain on the roof didn't bead when the car was new, and still doesn't bead if you use the BMW reproofer.

You really should find out more about the car before commenting. Mirror bases are made in aluminium, so will not rust. From another thread FYI Z's are built in America not Germany.

What you are talking about and what hornel ZM3 is are 2 different things. Ultraseal is put into the wheels and is left there in case you get a puncture, not put in after you get a puncture. there is a lot of discussion on here about it if you do a search

You don't really need to use the inboard studs for the tonneau cover, the outside studs hold it inplace ok. I've never used them.
