Poddington is a smallish village. The last time I went to the Garden Centre (a couple of years ago now, may be better now) access wasn't that good, the Centre is set back off the High Street in-between the houses on the left coming in from Wellingborough. You can get some idea of it on Google Maps S...

If you were using the car on a good day with the hood down where did the water come from, unless you had washed the car before and there was still some in the filler flap. I wou...

As Robert has said there is a tow bar made for the Z and somebody on here fitted it and towed a boat, with a photo if you do a search. I've seen small trailers being towed but not a caravan, but I expect it could be done, there must be a site that gives the towing weights for the Z or it may be in a...

Fix the problem first before replacing the battery. If it has been drained completely, it is unlikely to ever recover completely, but if you put a new one on now, it will just drain that as well. My initial thoughts are a wiring problem - and my prime suspect would be the boot lid wiring. If two of...

Re: central locking
Yes, left side, it’s the bending when opening and shutting the boot that cracks the wires. I think there is a updated replacement loom available, but not 100% sure of thissteve-1965 wrote:cheers for that, is that the flexi bit between the boot lid/body?

I found a break in the cable leading to the 'high-level' brakelight from the boot up to the bootlid. Taped it up temporarily and the guages are working again. Now I just need to replace the cable. It seems that the wiring loom in the boot is a cause for many problems, the main one being the central...

I have a full tonneau for my frog, so I know exactly what you mean, and it has a zip down the centre allowing you to leave just one side of the car covered.
