I have got a breathable custom fit cover made by a company called Noah. The unique thing about this is it has inbuilt ding protectors to protect the doors. I think you can only buy it in the sates.

When i did a white lens conversion on my 325i, i bought some silver bulbs off ebay. They were not as bright as the orange bulbs, and i suspect they were "professionally" painted orange bulbs. After a couple of months, the silver went dull. Maybe it was the paint. What paint did you use? tags

I went down the aux-in route with a Kenwood Headunit that has Aux-in. I simply attach my phone which has Mp3's etc and select aux-in. It wont hold as many tracks as an ipod, but it serves my purpose. I also get the benefit of having the phone going through the aux-in, as well as sat nav etc etc...yo...

Does your M take on a different Zorst/engine noise when hot?

I have noticed that when i first start up the M from cold, its quite plain in engine noise and exhaust noise. But after the engine gets hot, say 10 miles or so of driving, the engine / exhaust notes change. The exhaust emits a satisfying hum with a sweet-spot at about 1500rpm. Is this normal? My car...

On my previous Z3, 97 1.9, i had to flex the driver to get them in. But....i am not even sure i'll get the bag in the M, as i have the compressor thing in the way. Hmmmm...will have to experiment when i get home.

I have since found out that it is an AMP connector and AMP have sent me some drawings to confirm this. I have asked them for a price and min pack size. If they are expensive, i might try and scrounge a couple of samples.

i currently have a problem with mine that i am waiting for Racelogic to come back to me on. it seems like it works for 10-15 minutes, then stops working. thrn starts again, but usually next day. very strange. when it works though, it is very good. well worth the money.

I think this is sorted now. Had a call from Race Logic. Hooked up a notebook to the TC, but now everything seems ok. I have put this one down to "user error"

Hi, I got my Race Logic Traction Control fitted at the weekend and git chance to have a play with it tonight. Mainly the Launch Control. On wet setting, it was set at about 4000 rpm. I know it was working as upon pressing the LC button and pressing the accellerator, the car only rev'ved to 4000 rpm....

Just got home after a detour in Bangor and Anglesey. Had a nice meal at a little pub/restaurant in Conwy called The Old White House. Many thanks to Paul for doing a grand job on the install. I am running it fine on my SPV1000. This is PPC2003, but i think xdaIIs is windows Mobile second edition, effectively a newer version of what i have (it should let you go landscape as well as portrait). Thats why you may be seeing the error re: previous version etc.

Paul.... Did it happen before you had the race logic TC fitted? I only ask as coincidently, slickster22 has the same kit fitted.
