Bart, someone else will have to confirm this, but I didn't think that Ms were introduced until 1998. (edit - just seen on another post that LHD ///Ms were introduced in 01/97) Servicing is based on the green lights. Each light is equivalent to between 1200-1800 miles (2000-3000kms). 5 green lights m...

£525 is about right if it includes the coolant and brake fluid changes. About £100 to £150 too much if it doesn't include them. It also depends on where the garage is - cost of premises, etc. Sorry, I don't know where Witham is. Try supplying your own oil and spark plugs. That should cut the cost ri...

Thanks for that. I've had some response from Targus. They will only say that it is 230v. They won't tell me the upper tolerance limit. Which, from the compensation point of view, is a good thing. I can now go to United and tell them that the manufacturer says that my charger is not suitable for UK u...

I've made it to Dayton, OH - pity my suitcase didn't :head: Last seen in Chicago - answers to the name of "Case". Good old United Airlines  The bag wasn't very heavy, which may cost me dear, as liability is $20 per kg. So, I'll probably only get about $200 Manufacturers Suggested Ret...

Just watched "Shall We Dance?", cr@p film only redeeming feature was the Z3 in the underground car park.
Apart from the obvious Bond film, where else have Zs made it onto celluloid?

Have you tried?
Two things I'd try. 1. Manually switch the alarm off, using the alarm key. Wait a while (just in case there's a minimum reset time). Go make a cup of tea. Finish cup of tea. Switch back on. Test. 2. If still broke, disconnect earth lead on battery make sure you have code for radio . Again do the cup...

Can't burn to DVD as I have no DVD writer. I've just started selling them on eBay and I would appreciate it if people bought them from there rather than buying privately. Has anyone bought and fitted one of these. It's a unit that plugs into the electrics and automatically switches on the headlights when you start the car on but at 50% brightness. At night you pull the light switch out as normal. Sounds easy to fit but does anyone have part numbers, costs and and hi...
