Re: Lets cut them in half and make a Z34!
Didn't know where to put this thread but here it is. Thought we needed a fun topic after all the heated talks recently. So, I prefer the front of the Z3 but the back of the Z4. Circular saw and some super glue and we get the Z34? I don't have photoshop at work but I am sure it would look good. No? ...

Did you use a cleaner first to get the old wax/polish of or did you go straight on with the Harly's?
And also do use a normal cotton cloth or a microfibre cloth?
Cheers

Throttle position sensor doesn't bring the ECU light on. Most of the things I'd have thought would be logged by the fault codes though. In fact, there's not a great deal that does bring the ECU light on from memory... I'm beginning to think you might have an issue with your cat. I had a V6 Mondeo s...

I had exactly same problem, turned out to be the throttle body cover, apparently some sensor has gone. Price £170 + Labour They also replaced 2 faulty cylinder coils at the same time, not sure what relevance they had with respect to the loss of power though. I'm hoping my mate at the BMW dealer can...

I had the same problem when feathering the throttle at a constant motorway speed, the car would jolt and lose power and then pickup again. Re: Z1 paint - clear coat?
I was surprised to find the Top Red paint on my Z1 appears to have a clear coat; this is based upon using a mild polish and getting no stain on the polishing cloth. Other red German cars that I've owned of that era quickly stained the polishing cloths. Any comments? I think the Germans were one of ...
