Worth mentioning that these are the only non OEM roll hoops which are fully German TUV safety approved for the Z3 (they were an offical option through BMW dealerships). Could be rear top mounts? A very common point of failure for the z's. I would expect knocking over bumps as well though

It was a stroll in the park in comparison to the seatbelt guides. As for lining them up just make sure the seats are all the way back when you take them out, I just matched each side up and counted the threads, both went in first time :)

Hi Brian, I didn't take any I'm afraid but if you remove the plastic covers below the wheel ypu should see a bunch of cables tied together with a little white connection just sat there, it looks a similar shape and size as your average phone charger connection (the modern style)

Very interested to see what these fetch, I'd be tempted to stick them on eBay if I were you, a huge amount of buyers don't go on forums and I'd be inclined to say you will end up (even after fees) with a better price...

Well another thing has been ticked off the list. After seeing a thread some time ago about how easy it was to retrofit cruise control to an S54 I finally got round to giving it a try. Popped into my local BMW dealership on thursday afternoon and ordered the same three parts outlined by other members...

Digging this up for anyone interested, Ordered the same three parts as 'martlet' from my local Woods BMW: B61.31.8.360.926 Switch B61.31.1.390.968 Knob (English) B65.71.8.380.054 Interface Parts totalled around £135, non-refundable from Germany :shock: Fingers crossed it works!!

Great color combo, the sidelights look good, usually photos make them seem dull?

PS got the same aerial, great mod but useless at picking up reception! Lucky the radio is barely used!

I think the type of pedal can change the feel of the driving experience to some extent (better or worse, I've changed pedal sets on plenty of cars for non cosmetic reasons over the years) but I agree the premium over cheaper pedals is hard to justify but sometimes its just the feeling that you have...
