I must admit I am not convinced about the bonnet grilles.

I just got them so the order went through once, but they may not make it as a permanent feature.

Bling worries me as does not 'natural'.

We'll see when they arrive.

In terms of packing we have the legally required stuff, triangles and alcohol checkers and bulbs. Car was hugely carefully checked for fluids and tyres before leaving . Tyre checking was started a fortnight before leaving in case of slow puncture. Bought a compressor from Halfords which will double ...

Took the Z4MC out NYE/NYD for the first time in 6-8 weeks. Torrential rain on NYE driving down from Cambs to Surrey. On NYD on the drive home I noticed a 9" crack on the windscreen. The chip was 3" above the passenger side windscreen wiper and the crack just grew slowly on the way home. :h...

Suggest you get yourself to a tame independent BMW specialist who has the BMW computer diagnostics. Don't go to a dealer. Well not only hard top on next weekend, but also bought the Alloys from Red Leader and intend kitting them with some quality winter tyres too. So could be busy next weekend as hard top is definitely going on and then will decide about the 'new' alloys and tyres. They may go on too......or best not? ...

Quality winter tyres sourced at £65 and may or may not need 5mm or 10mm spacers on the rear only. :rtm:
