Are you plugged in to the diagnostic socket in the engine compartment?
If your car also has a 16 pin connection under the steering wheel and are plugged in to that you will only see the engine diagnostics, the round under bonnet socket will access more modules.

Same thing happened to mine, you need to solder the wire back on to the mast base that has broken off I had to use a small new wire to splice it on to the broken wire so it was long enough to work on. Best get yourself some diagnostic software to plug in its going to be the best money you will spend and in the long run likely to save you cash in identifying sensor problems. If you get software that reads live info from the sensors you would be able to see if the TPS was working.

Intake Temp Sensor on my 1999 1.9 is not on the airbox its incorporated in the MAF sensor
it shows the airbox sensor in the OEM diagram but is not listed in the parts list when displaying for my car so not fitted.

BonBon If you have access to software that will show you live sensor readings you would be able to watch the MAF performing whilst using the throttle pedal, mine reports litres of air per second at least you would know its working at different throttle positions. Agree get the tracking checked it wouldn't hurt to get the wheels balanced as well then you will have a clear signpost to the discs being the cause.

I would agree that the most likely cause under braking will be warped discs, you could check this out by holding a fixed rod like a screwdriver against the disc edge and spinning the disc around to see if there is run out detectable that would cause the vibration, you might also experience pulsating...

If it's not the idle control valve and its the Camshaft position sensor get an OEM replacement, don't go for a pattern part been there and done it, pattern part failed in short time. Sounds like you are losing ignition power intermittently especially if the rev counter drops to zero, check out your ignition switch it may be the ignition contact in the switch that has a dodgy contact.

Lambda pre Cat cheap ebay replacement failed so bought a Bosch replacement from Europarts and fitted that so far no codes or Mil since fitted.
