I assume the s/wheel is shimmying or wobbling, quickly left to right, also if you can accelerate through the shimmy then I would put my money on wheel balance, get them to recheck and road test it

You do need a s/wheel puller, but once its off. Foxy I am surprised that you even ask, Remove the motor thingy at the front end, get it chromed , but don't over do it, so paint the rest of the under bonnet area mat black, :D Think of all the nice comments you will get when you show the others :wink:

I've got a foot rest, :P but I have a steptronic and find that it is in the perfect possition, only fault was that it was carpeted and suceptable to premature wear so I Velcro'd a leather patch onto it, no probs at all now.

I now have a blanket that I put over the roof before lowering it. It's a bit of a fag, but its working, no wear marks anywhere at the moment. The best way is to pull the radio out, you can leave it connected and balance it on the gear leaver while you fit the new bulbs.

Yes I have tried all other body parts but head is best due to critical mass it can be improved if you stand in a puddle in your bare feet and raise one arm above your head but you tend to get some funny looks. :devil:
