Long Weekend in Scotland

Post by jontymo »

After having a great time at Santa Pod this weekend and no more cruise's planned at the moment just wondering if anyone fancies a long weekend away in the middle of November?

It will be dark, wet and cold but could be a great excuse for some playtime.

To try and get some decent clear roads i reckon somewhere in gods country!(Scotland) could be the place to aim for.

If you want pampering then hotels may be the order of the day or for the more adventure in us we could get a house/cottage for around £100 per couple for 3 nights Fri-Mon.

If anyone fancies it (more the merrier) then let me know.

Sounds good guys

If easier we could book a night away up North Yorkshire or the lakes for a Saturday night, lets see if anymore fancy it over the next week or so.

As for runs out i will try to organise a run around us (Holmfirth/Marsden/Glossop) etc for a few weeks time with a stop somewhere for lunch.

I will create another thread for this at the weekend.

Hi billz, anywhere in Scotland but could do with a few of us to make it more fun.

If cannot get enough for Scotland then might start a new thread for a night away in the lakes or North Yorkshire.

Its a long way but the roads around Tummel Bridge are fantastic like most of them around Pitlochry and so are the views. If any more are interested then there are some really nice B+Bs in that area.

This was taken a little way down the road from Queen's View... in December, just before Christmas in fact! :shake:

Hi all, sorry for not updating but here goes:

I will cancel the Scotland trip for now but will be creating a new thread soon for a Fri/Sat night away probably mid January in the Lakes.

Also will be sorting a cruise with Swamper for Holmfirth/Glossop etc we have started to plan it today so again will create a thread soon.
