Give us a clue then?

1st guess to me

Some sort of contraption that when you get to a road hump Andrea jumps out the car pulls down on the rail and it raises the back end to stop you bottoming out! :clown:

Still think it would be easier to change the springs :P

Sounds great, but perhaps a bit early in the year for us. Easter or May Bank Holiday would be more like it, so I think we will pass on this - but thanks for the invite.

For half the year we lock ourselves away in our little boxes.

Regardless of time of year when your driving a great car, with great scenery, exellent company and a nice warm comfy Hotel at the end of the day, what could be better? :thumb:
Your only here once so enjoy what time you have.

Ive walked up those mountains a few times, I went up the glyders (on the right of the pic) in february this year it was -20 with the windchill on the top and spin drift everywhere, the change in temperature caused a bubble in my compass which started giving duff readings...was a great day out. (got all the gear before anyone has a go) :)

Jim,

I think this one will be ruled by the weather!

Where will the overnight stop be?

I would keep an eye on the long range forecast before booking anywhere :!:

Fingers crossed for no snow :) :)

I have attached a quick/rough map of the intended route over the two days (plenty of stops for pics coffee) but this may change
due to weather conditions.
I am looking to have the overnight stop between Barmouth and Aberdyfi (Hotel to be confirmed)

Using Wrexham as a start finish point (just for reference) its around a 280 mile drive. :drive

Wrexham to Barmouth (First Day for those joining us on the Saturday only) is around 120 mile.

Proposed Route

Waiting for cofirmation of whos coming along, would like to stop in Aberdyfi, but they only have 4 rooms left cost of around £55 per night. Stayed here before not the ritz but clean and a good atmosphere in the bar area and right on the front. Dont want to be caught out as to book will need to provide my debit card details.
