Scotland 3 day away August Bank Holiday

Post by jontymo »

Ok Guys and galls, after a great weekend organised by Bill and Maurice i'm thinking of organising a trip to Scotland.

The date is Sat 27th returning probably on the Tuesday after the bank holiday Monday.

I have 2 thoughts on accommodation, either 3 nights in log cabins near Oban of which if we get booked quick enough would be 3 couples per lodge, or we could do B&Bs.

For the driving i'm thinking of Glencoe/Mallaig/Ullapool and any other suggestions peeps may have.

If anyone fancies this please let me know asap as we need to get a muster on if this is to come to fruition.

If enough people are up for it i will be requesting deposits as need to confirm bookings soon as.

Hi Jontimo.
I'v never been to scotland and always wanted to go so can you put me and Linda down as possibles please and i will try and sort it. I know it maybe awkward for you if your booking log cabins but if i miss that i can always sort out other accommodation with my tesco vouchers somewhere. :drive

If you're in that area - it would be worth stopping by the Appelcross Inn
You probably won't be able to get rooms, it's always full - but the food is excellent.
It also means you have an opportunity to cross the Bealach na Ba.
