Given the previous couple of posts, is that irony, or a genuine attempt to promote the event further?TaffZee wrote:Bump

I'm toying with the idea of popping my cruise cherry on this one, any room for me?

'er indoors has just signed my permission slip so I'll see you guys there. Do we meet at 9.00 and have a bit of grub first, or set off at 9.00?
If the aim is to leave at 9.00 I'll get there a bit early. I don't possess the will power to be within 50 meters of a Maccy D's and not have a sausage McMuffin.

Once they get in full flow we can bugger off and come back later and they would never know we had left.swamper wrote:you have to wait for the musses to stop gabbing first..best grab a bit to eat then a coffee and bun...put your feet up for a while...maybe stay for some dinner.......TaffZee wrote:Meet at 09:00 on the road at 09:30-09:45peteslag wrote:'er indoors has just signed my permission slip so I'll see you guys there. We have child care issues unfortunately. The wife is happy to stay and look after our boy so it looks like I'll be coming alone. I'm not sure the police will be happy if we bundled him into the boot.
Just one thing, if Maurice the martian is planning on taking his little yellow electric car that route is going to take forever!

Our participation may be in doubt.
Had a little accident earlier on. Nothing major just a little dent in the wing and bumper but I am not sure if I have knocked the suspension out. From some angles it looks OK and from others it doesn't. Still drives straight and the steering wheel is straight ahead still.
Anyway it is going to a customer on Monday (he runs a bodyshop) and we will take it from there.
I will keep you posted.

I cannot make this run as I am going up in the mountains of snowdonia with my mate who has nipped over to see me from OZ Might see you all whizzing around in the valleys below
