Re: scottish cruises
Count me in for a Scottish cruise but it will have to be 1st April onwards....
Re: scottish cruises
a few Scottish member's have joined in the last few months . so the numbers are getting healthy I'm sure between us all we can have a few great meets and on some great driving roads
Re: scottish cruises
Now then peeps.
I'm no where near Scotland, but I'm planning on doing a bit of driving up there this year for hooning.
I wonder if you guys had any recommended roads in mind, and areas to visit at the same time? Much appreciated!

Re: scottish cruises
On the way there try and head up the A68, a very interesting road. If you have the time try the B6320 through Wark and Keilder then left onto the B6357 and then pick up the B6399 into Hawick. Brilliant deserted roads, castles and steam railway (WRHA) and Hawick is a lovely borders town for a short break..

It's a naff thing for me to say, but there are too many to mention.mjgerrard wrote:Now then peeps.

On the way up, you have the choice of one, or two...
A6 / B7076 (old A74) and detour to Leadhills & Wanlockhead , or
A68 (Darlington - Edinburgh), or
A696 (Newcastle - Otterburn), or
A697 (Morpeth - Coldstream), or
A7 (Carlisle - Edinburgh), or
A701 (Moffat - Edinburgh), or
A702 (Abington - Edinburgh)
My personal top tip is use your sat nav, but select either Avoid Motorways or Shortest Route

If anyone decides to organise a cruise, make sure that you start a new thread for it and link to it from here .
That way, nobody should miss it.

BMWCCScotland is our website, which ties together our activities on Bavarian Board and the BMWCC Regional Forums
As Dave says, the next meet is our annual Show & Shine at Ross Priory, on the shores of Loch Lomond, near Balloch
Details of the meet are on both forums
