Euro/Slovenia Cruise 2015

Post by billz »

This will be the first year since owning a Zed i have not done a Cruise abroad, so i am planning on doing one hopefully next July to Slovenia going through the Alps.
The route will go through Reims, Grand Ballon, Mullhouse taking the Sustenpasse to Oberwald spending 2 nights here, the first night is the arrival night the second night to enable us to visit Andermatte and Grindlewald to see the Eiger (again) then going over to the Julierpasse to our Hotel, this will hopefully be La Brace in Forcola, where we will spend 3 nights to go out and visit places like Livigno and St Moritz, we then hopefuly travel to Castel Pergine in Trento for 1 night before travelling on to Slovenia and hopefully staying at Hotel Vile Park in Portoroz, where we will hopefully spend 6 nights. I have not yet worked out the return route but i am hoping to come back through Austria and Germany.

Dates now set for this. 10/7/15 which is a Friday and return Monday 27/7/15. I will be booking our Hotels in either July or August this year which ever is the earliest Booking.com will allow. The route back is still in the planning stage. If anyone wants to tag along they are free to do so, but will need to book the hotels as soon as they can as they do tend to fill up quite quickly. If any one needs approx costs it should be around £1500 for accommodation £750 ish for fuel £140 for euro tunnel and around £100 for tolls. Also a Swiss motorway permit will need to be purchased at around £30. Cost should come to no more than £2500 plus spending. I will be putting together some itineraries for each day hoping to get the most out of the Cruise.
At present there is me and maurice

You have a year to save up. You know you want to :D What other holiday can you book and not pay anything for 12 months
