Just wondering how much hard tops seem to be changing hands for these days. Estoril blue in carry case (if you can call it a carry case) / protective zip-up cover ??

I would say around £600 - £700 would be average

Not as much as selling both hardtop and fitting kit separately though.

i have been looking for a hard top since long ago. you can hardly get a used hard top in malaysia, no one want the risk to ship it to malaysia. if you dont mind the trouble going thru that i'm still looking for it.

Interesting about the fitting kit selling seperate. Obviously my car must have the kit. Is it easy to remove and what do they go for? I have not made my mind up if i want to get rid yet.

i estimate: the hard top can go £500 + the fitting kit worth about £250 = £ 750 (that will be my minimum value)...take your time to decide...no hurry...

£750 would be a bargain. Top and fitting kit can go right up to circa £1200

This time of year, they can fetch that amount.

Just take a look on eBay, you'll see what they go for.

I bought mine for £630, but I was lucky. I have seen them go for £1000 for just the top. It all depends on what the color is and whether or not someone bidding wants that particular color. You have to remember that a decent spray job is going to cost you an additional £200-£250, so a hard top in the right color has got to be worth £200 more to you than one you have to spray.

The fitting kit will cost close to £300 from a dealer, so £250 in ebay is not uncommon. Espaciually as they come up so rarely.

If I were selling a hard top I would wait for the first real frost and for people to have finished paying for the summer holidays. Estoril is a good and a bad color to sell. Good because you have the widest addressable market and bad becasue you have competition. If I were you Tags, I would not take less than £700 as you also have the bag.

Some sound reasoning there guys. No need or rush to sell, i am just thinking ahead as i might need to fund something around christmas time. I always wanted a hard top on all the convertibles i have had, and never had one till i got the ///M. And now i got the ///M it spends most of its time tucked away in the garage and doesnt need the top

Cheers for the help.

This one is £870 at the moment - so £900 would seem achievable.
