This is an odd one. Hope it's not from here.
Not nice.
I wouldn't have described them as upgrades!

That's worthy of BarryBoys! £4000 of stick-on tat. And custom made roll-bars - yeah right - they look exactly the same as the factory produced ones!
And those exhausts - if they need heat shielding like that round them, then they're too close to the bodywork.
What confuses me is that he's spent lots of presumably hard-earned cash on magpie bits and didn't bother with a nice shiney strut-brace.
If it the tat can be taken off without damaging the paintwork, then there might be a nice car underneath, but as it is, it doesn't do anything for me!
Cheers R.

Click on his feedback and see the stuff he's bought and the price he's paid.
Rear spoiler - Since when has $250 been £250.
A 76mm Eisenmann exhaust for a Z3M (quad pipes like he has) costs £891, not £1200, as he stated.
He's a muppet (no disrespect to the real muppet!!).
What sort of idiot quotes prices on their advert than can be easily checked by looking a their feedback, or online.

Yes you can buy plastic covers to go over standard calipers, to make them look like Brembo. I think thats what the guy has done.

O.....M....G.... Mind if I place this on the Dutch forum? I'm sure they'll love it just as much.
New Red Carpets/mats - Cost £200
Are these with golden stitching?
Diamond cut stainless steel custom made Stone guards - Cost £200
LoL LoL LoL
The only thing I like about it is the exhaust system, minus the circus around it.

Well it didn't make it's reserve although to my amazement four people bid for it!
Never mind if you did like the ''Italian Leather and stainless steering wheel-cost £200'' you can get one here on ebay for £24.99. (item8)

They look good on a PlayStation steering wheel. I'm not sure about my car. But I'm a 42 yr old old-fart, not a 17 yr old Corsa driver.Dav wrote:Well it didn't make it's reserve although to my amazement four people bid for it!

ESP etc
Did anyone notice that the 'Safety Equipment' bit claims an 'Electronic Stability Program is fitted, but in the 'Equipment' list it only has the usual Traction Control.
It is also claimed that a Driver's Airbag is fitted - but not with that steering wheel. Perhaps it should say 'fitted for.'
'Never driven in the rain?' - I doubt if it has even ventured out of its garage, as otherwise the spare ski he has cleverly mounted below the tailpipes would have parted company on a 'Safety' hump . . .
All told, it's a sorry lesson in what happens when enthusiasm overcomes good taste - but it would improve a lot without the imitation Brembo calipers, and those bits of metal stuck on the sides.
Still, underneath it's another Z3 waiting to get out!

someone who isn't too intelligent. last time i checked it was illegal to advertise false statistics about the product you intend on selling.pingu wrote:Click on his feedback and see the stuff he's bought and the price he's paid.

anyway, on a side note, am i the only one here who actually thinks the alloys look nice? imagine the car being normal and not suffering from what appears to be Chavettes syndrome, and they have potential
BMW Z3 2.0L Velvet Blue Individual Edition
Wheels
The wheels are nice looking, though I wonder if they are genuine BBS, or made by low-pressure die casting in the back yard of some chinese peasant.
Even the genuine item is pretty useless if you use the car much, as the laquer soon becomes chipped, with corrosion spreading underneath soon afterwards.
Poor quality wheels can crack and break on impact with any debris in the road, causing an accident - it's a pity the UK does not have a decent Type Approval system such as that of the German TuV, or simply require that all such items be approved by the TuV before permitting import.
If something is cheap and pretty, people will buy it, and there are many firms selling replica BMW/Schnitzer/Alpina/BBS wheels to those who are more interested in fashion than function.
