We have had this car since Aug-05 when it had 8K and been used as a daily driver. Drives like new and has new front disks this week and 4 new conti sport tyres.
Mechanically the car is in excellent condition for the age and mileage and I've just completed a 3K trip around Europe in it without any drama. Never been in an accident apart from a couple of panels sorted for parking scratches. The car is standard apart from a modified CDV valve and the removal of the runflat tyres – which gives you full control of the clutch and prevents the hiccupping moving off in 1st and the tyres improve the ride. Attended 1 track day in it at Bedford – never ring'd.
Cosmetically, there are a couple of small parking marks on the front and rear panels and the alloys are scuffed in places. I don't have the time to sort these out and the negotiation price will reflect the work needed to correct these blemishes. I have polished and cleaned the car religiously.
I am a founding member of Zed-Cars.EU independent car club and the car has been a pleasure to own – the car's been on many club trips around the UK and Europe. Only swapping out to get a ///M variant.
Warranty work (as with all Z4s!) has been carried out. Coils, Springs, Disa, and MAF have all been replaced. Rattles and hood catch sorted. New windows regulator. There is full Warranty Direct outstanding until October-08 which will stay with the car.
