Post by Jonttt »

My brother is selling his Z4m Roadster.

It has absolutely every extra you can get and is totally unmarked inside and out.

In a word no.

I would in terms of a "spot on" genuine car with every option in fantastic condition (he has OCD, seriously) but I had this dilema all last year when I was considering getting a convertable as a second car.

I originally budgeted on a Z4 (3 litre or M) but I fell in love with the Z3's and I could not justify to myself spending twice as much just for the sake of it, now I've owned x2 Z3m's that decision is even stronger.

If it was my main daily driver I would take the Z4 as it is more refined but for fun I much prefer the Z3's and I think the shape will remain timeless (much more so than the Z4).

funny he's asked me the same question though :D

Actually I'm very chilled :D I only wipe fingerprints off that I can see

To be honest the only reason my car is easy to clean is I only drive it when its dry, its so much easier to keep a spare car clean than a daily driver. My poor workmobile never gets cleaned (I'm actually sat in dealer waiting for some warranty work to be done on it so hopefully they will clean it as well :D )

Lee, I wouldn't say it only comes out in the dry (did you see the pics of the Blackpool meet  ) but being a second car it does not have to face every day built up of dirt so is actually really easy to keep clean.

Lakes run is a definate, I have so many things planned for it next summer but if we have a decent xmas I can picture a nice winter run  .

He's sold it to a couple who travelled up from London.

So he bought it, ran it for 6 months, and sold for a profit

Who says cars are depreciating :D

Only this year ever I think.

Although, having said that - I sold my MKII Golf 16V in 1994 for the same money I paid for it, and my current MKI Golf Cabrio is worth more then what I paid for it 16 years ago.
