I think that Courageous was talking about the advertWessex wrote:I wasn't looking for an answer just bringing it to the attention of other forum members.
Learn from the mistakes of others; you don't live long enough to make them all yourself!
The person that has never made a mistake hasn't been born yet!
How rude.

You asked the question whether it was a bargain or not - as it is an ebay lot apparently with no reserve, then, as said, it is only a bargain if it goes for a low bid.
The car looks tidy enough from the photos, but it has two big negative points against it - 1) it is a finance repossession and 2) it is a cat D insurance write-off. The seller is certainly being very up front about the latter - they mention cat D no less than 5 times! Assuming the the cat D damage has been repaired properly and has not resulted in a bent car, then it is potentially a good buy for someone.
Cheers R.

Thanks for the decent reply Robert.
I would think most people, like me, bought the Z3 for the long term and if the car does only sell for around the £3-3,500 mark then I would consider it good value for an eight year old ZZZ. So, even if the car has a poor history, I wouldn't have thought it would be bought to be sold on again in a hurry. Has a current MoT although no reason for the Cat D is known (2005)
Anyway, time will tell what the final selling price will be. There is no reserve price to meet.
