Should be ok for a look. Some people just want to sell up. But obviously, normal sense and cautionary checks should be done.

Undoubted scam artist in my humble opinion...when something is too good to be true it invariably is...

There are a few clues...:

"for around around three years"...repeated word...

"It has low mielage of just over 49000"...missing indefinte article 'a' and spelling mistake...

"It is a quick car or is just at ease tootling..."...no contraction of 'It is' and no 'either' with the 'or' and does anyone use 'tootle' outside of Enid Blyton's famous Five Books?

"un marked"...should be one word not two

When you read it it feels like its been written by someone for whom English is not their first language...

"!!! Please e-mail me directly at alisonpatey34@hotmail.com because if you will e-mail me through PH your messages will go to my spam folder and they will be automatically deleted. Thanks !!!

This also doesn't make sense and could be fixed by changing your email rules...and what does 'because if you will email me' mean?

For fun though am going to enquire :-)

Just for a laugh I enquired of the first one last night and got this reply:

Hi,

The car is still available for sale,it is in perfect condition in and out,100% HPI clear with a certificate to confirm, full service history.
I just got married and moved with my Italian husband in Milan,Italy.I took the car with me so the car is currently here.
I can`t use it in Italy because it has the wheel on the right side and it would also cost me too much to register it here.
It is still registered in the UK and since I have absolutely no use for it I am looking for a fast sale( this is why the low asking price)
I can ship the car from here directly to your home address and I am also willing to cover all delivery expenses.
I look forward to your reply
Regards
Theresa

Alison suddenly became Theresa (Obviously the mother). When I declared to my delight that I am also in Italy and able to take a look "it" went amazingly quiet.

They obviously catch some people or they wouldn't bother! Charming.

OK I couldnt resist so i had a punt on the second car, here is the reply!

Hello ,

Thank you for your interest in purchasing my car.
The car is in good condition, has no technical damage at all, no scratches or dents, no hidden defects.
It's fun and robust to drive . Technical inspection and emissions testing is passed and stamped as well. It has title of ownership, cleared of any obligations or fees and comes with all the documents you need to register it. You will not have to pay additional taxes for this. One previous owner... full service history, MOT and Road Tax are payed.
Please feel free to email me with any questions you may have.
Thank you and have a nice day!

Opinions? Ive not heard anyone say the Zed is "robust" before!

some very strange terminology used, as highlighted. doesn't sound like a typical British car advert to me.
think you should now state your interest and ask to view it.

Ahh a reply but this time from Piston Heads:

"This advert has since been removed as we have reason to believe that it may not be genuine. We strongly recommend that you ignore any contact from the "seller" and under no circumstances transfer any money"

Seems all of our caution was needed! Another timewasting money grabber!

Removed again. Their types will never stop until they're locked up! Guess its too much for us to expect our fraud squad to do anything about this eh? They've prolly been seconded to the anti terrorism unit to try and catch fictitious terrorists........ :D
