Genuine BMW "Z" keyring

Post by Dazza »

I have a "Z" keyring that I sourced from a guy on here, BMW had to with draw it due to copy right claims by Nissan, BMW were banned from selling these so you won't find these very often I don't expect.

It's just a cut out copy of the "Z" you get on the back of a Z3.

I won't let this go for pennies but now I've sold the car I thought I'd see what I'd be offered.

So any one interested. It's not mint and doesn't have the box. I have a "3" as well!

I have an element of 'M-styling' on my car, If that's a good enough reason for the manufacturers to adorn a 320 with the M badge, then its certainly a good enough reason for me..

Look if you don't like it or not interested then fine but leave out the childish comments on a genuine post where someone is trying to offer an item for sale.

So you value the Capri at £40 for a swop ! :P

I'll start the bidding at £10 for the Z key ring

a genuine new z3 keyring from bmw(ocean plymouth)is available for £14.19 inc delivery so £10 seems fair to me.if you think its worth more try ebay.

Have you posted without reading the whole thread?

Look at the pic I posted and see if you can spot the difference, one correct entry will get a genuine Z3 keyring

This one is the same as the 3 keyring above and less than a tenner. As you say the Z one is hard to come by nowadays but the 3 is readily available.

3 months and still no buyer.....not exactly flying off the shelf is it, I think its time to throw it in the bin and give up.
or at least take the £11 offer before that is withdrawn....

try eBay, if that doesn't sell it, it's because no one wants one.

or you could 'bump' for a few more months :D

I hate to say it but it is massively over priced, it wouldnt have cost more than £15 new and its in used condition, I think £11 is a very generous offer considering you probably paid less for it(if you didn't I apologise, you are just trying to make your money back)..just my thoughts

I'm pretty surprised by this thread, as was posted earlier these were going for silly money a while ago, I wonder what happened?

Obviously this is the place to sell one but clearly it's a buyers market, still surprising though.

Thanks for what appears to be the only sensible / friendly reply!

You obviously read the whole thread and appreciate what is offered. Ok £40 is high and I honestly didn't expect to get this much, after the negative unfriendly response I thought I'd just take this piss.

I'd be happy to take a reasonable bid off a serious Z enthusiast but felt the offers so far were an insult and just individuals taking the piss.

Not sure what happened here but I thought this was a site for Z owners which I was until December, it was a reluctant sale but a plan to start a family takes priority and my first love is our camper so the Z went to be replaced by 4 seats. So why such a negative unwelcoming response.

I have sold a number of other items that I believe to be at a reasonable cost, they got a good deal and I got rid of items no use to me. I am not a money grabber and never have been, I assure you I earn enough. And for the record I am sort of in sales, I sure if you search my posts I mention it, and very successful.

I won't bother posting after this because I think the response is negative and not deserved. I have met people off here in the past and found them more than friendly but I see overtime this has changed.

If any one is interested in the keyring pm me and I'll get a notification email which I'll then check.

Otherwise fairwell and I hope you all enjoy your Z's as much as I did when I had it!

Hang on mate, we are serious Zed enthusiasts on this forum and a tenner is a reasonable bid for the item - given its condition.
