help b4 i pull the last of my hair out ,i need a drivers side door mirror or maybe both,right hand drive 97 z3 roadster,any ideas,ive tried all the usual routes.

had the same problem,broke mine in half only light tap,the alloy bit inside rottern,put it back together with metal epoxy and its really solid,i had parts search with all major breakers and no results for good reuseable ones,ordered two new ones from loacal bmw £165 each.compleat.

person who owned it b4 me filled them with grip fill to hold em together
even if i get some its gonna be a job and a half.

you should be able to get to the two fixing bolts on the base,after the top half is removed,the wires un clip behind the door card.new ones just then thread though and replug.i am sure theres a tread on here somewhere.

I have a pair at home, they need a complete respray, but other than that are in good condition.I'm away from home all week so wouldn't be able to post them till the weekend.
