Have been lurking for the last couple of weeks as I am looking to buy a Z3, unfortunately out of my price range (wife holding the purse strings), but just wanted to wish you good luck with the sale, it is indeed a beautiful example.

Sorry to hear you have decided to sell a beautiful example of the Zed.

I have the same car and year as yours so know what a wrench it must be to get rid. Don't think you'll have any problem selling it but your price may be a tad high if you need it shifting quickly - unless I got mine for silly cheap money and I'm out of touch :?

Best of luck anyways and hope you're in a position to get another one once you're sorted.

Thanks for the replies. The price is open to justified offers. However the asking price reflects the condition and the work along with money that has been invested to bring it up to the standard it is. I have left nothing in need of doing. Always used genuine parts and kept all the bills to reflect this. I will just have to wait and see what offers come in.

Thanks again to all the supporting comments.

I should have added that I have seen plenty of Zeds advertised for more than yours and probably not in as good condition/maintained but of course I have no idea if they ever sold.

Like I said - I'm sure it'll sell it's just how long you can wait for the buyer who wants one that your car fits the bill.

Completely understood mate. It is a nice car. I was over the moon with it. It kills me to even think about selling it but needs must.

It is a luxury not a necessity so until I am in a better position I must think with my head not my heart.

Some will me getting a very clean example. Ive spent a small fortune in the four months of ownership. Put all the little things right to make it the car it is now.

Called two local dealers today selling similar cars / spec / price to yours and both said they had sold over the weekend.

I'm sure yours will go pretty quick!

I would love to buy it, unfortunately to get the cash together I would need to sell one of my watches (buying from a dealer enables the use of a credit card to cover any shortfall in available cash!)

You are also very far away from me, to be able to come for a test drive!

Price reduced. I am open to offers. This is a nice car for anyone wanting a complete Z3 without having to worry about anything to do. It is a finished car, not a project, hence the asking price.

:) Re classic car listing, surely Z3s are too young to be classics yet, although I do agree they should be. How do you come by this information, is there an official list somewhere. :?:

Very nice. I know how you feel I've been forced into doing the same had to drop the price of mine too, all I keep getting is these idiots trying to scam me into giving them my account details so they can pay me ! the full asking price  , then they will arrange for someone to pick the car up as they just signed on to deep sea survey ship, it must have been the whole crew or they've all share the same email.
Anyway hope she goes to a good home if you get anyone looking for something a little cheaper send’em my way

I could really do with this car going now. I have reduced the asking price again. This really is a nice example and needs nothing done to it at all. This is a drive away car and is ready for autumn and full summer next year.

Make me an offer!

Hi I spoke with the dealer I brought my Z'ed from, he currently has a Red 2lt with sub 45K on the clock and it on a "V" plate and I must say in good condition, He has it priced at 3995 but he said he will not get that for it, he said everything is about 1000 pound down on last year and some models like Saab’s are up to 2k down, as he put it it’s a buyer market.
