Just a thought. Are you sure you have a faulty MAF? First thoughts when I had a bad running problem was a faulty MAF but it turned out to be an air leak in the flexible pipe between the MAF and inlet manifold. Mines a 2.8

Definitely Maf. Unplugged it runs fine. Won't run at all plugged in.

Mass Airflow meter I think, measures volume of air going into the engine.
