'98 S plate S50 Roadster Estoril Blue with Black & Grey

Post by SpaceMonkey »

Well unfortunately the time has come to have to part company with the M.
She's a been a delightful car to own & genuinely feels like an event everytime I drive her. I'm only selling due to not having time to enjoy her properly & using her for day to day is out of the question. (Parking the far end of the car park has become an issue with the wife)
So a friend is parting ways with his Shogun & offered it to me at a bargain price, I wish it were something more special, but sensible head has won this time. Especially as I'm working 7 days a week at the moment.

The Brief.....

1998 S Reg Z3M Roadster in Estoril Blue
Black & Grey leather interior
61000 miles
FSH - All BMW up until my ownership, then all work carried out by my trusted Indy.
Great condition
Full speed Alpine headunit (305S iirc)
Storm Motorwerks Gear knob
BMW Motorsport Brolly in the boot
MOT until Aug '12
Currently taxed (I'd have to check on when this runs out as she's in the garage at home)

She's showing 2 green bars in the service indicator, the next being a Ins II.
I had her oil serviced when I first got her including....
Oil & Oil Filter Change
Brake fluid change
Earls braided clutch hose
Gearbox oil
Air filter
She's also had the seat bushes changed & a refurbed NSF brake caliper.

The car has wanted for nothing since I've owned her & I'll be sad to see her go. But I would rather her go to someone that'll look after her.

Here are a few of the best pics I have of her.....

She currently shows my private plate, but the papers will be submitted this week for the plate to go on retention. Once I have the log book back all present & correct she's good to go. I'll happily show people round the car & even take a holding deposit on her. I'm happy for someone to drive the car as a test drive, but ONLY if they are showing me fully comprehensive insurance cover, if not I'll gladly take you for a drive.

I'm pricing the car at £7595ono. I will entertain offers, but nothing that'll insult me as I may insult you back

Any questions please fire away.
Thanks for looking

Well done I looked at a blue one with the black and grey combo. I really liked it and looks better than in the pictures.

Glad you got the best colour :D

It was still the trim he was after, but the screws were stuck, so Spacemonkey let him have the rest,
Mind you the trim was expensive to begin with.... :D

I have an element of 'M-styling' on my car, If that's a good enough reason for the manufacturers to adorn a 320 with the M badge, then its certainly a good enough reason for me..

bloody funny.... :D
the chrome trim arrived this morning...

the M started/run like a dream not one issue....stops on a penny as diving in london this is a must......inside and out its out of the box.....we gave it a little blip down a winding dual carriage way.......******* hell...never felt anything like it....i'll be honest and admit it made my toes curl  ...and stuck like glue....all in all its a minter and a credit to spacemonkey for keeping it in the condition...

the other Zed is staying as Colette wants it and offered me the trade in price ......and she wants to "borrow" the mods

thanks for all the advice and pm's..... couldn't/wouldn't have done it with out ya
the badness makes me do it...!

Such a shame, but I do understand wanting to escape the offspring. For me I have a spare seat at present and ticket, need to find a lady to take I think, and am trying to convince a friend and his wife to bring my second one (at their own cost) to boost the numbers for the event
