Breaking Z3

Post by lotocone »

I'm breaking our 2002 Z3 2.2 (Topaz Blue). Most parts available, please ask.

The car was in pristine condition with low mileage when it met a sticky end (frontal damage).

Sold so far:
Interior
Soft top
Roll bars
Mesh wind deflector
Rear light clusters

The remaining bits (including hard top) are in Sussex.

Cheers

I don't suppose the front numberplate holder surived did it? Mine has had a crack in it since I bought the car, and I think it is time to replace it.

I know you've sold the roll bars but do you happen to have the two metal supports that the inner ends of the bars go into?

Sorry. it's probably still embedded in the driver's door of a Ford Fiest :)

To answer other queries, the front end damage accounted for the bonnet, radiator, and lights. I think one spotlight might have survived. The steering rack survived. The two flitch panels survived.

Cheers

I have both mirrors but I'm already negotiating on them as a pair. If that doesn't work out, I'll say.

Hi

Looking for the plastic deflectors that sit in front of the rear wheels on the underbody just at the rear ends of the sills.
Mine have both cracked and the passenger one has fallen apart ........... :(

Thank You

I have the plastic panel that fits between the two light units and accommodates the triangle. The plastic bits on the back of the light units were sold.

Hi, I am collecting a 1997 Z3 later this week. It's had a lot of mechanical work done in the past, but needs a bit of tlc. Did the steering wheel go when the interior went? I need an M sport wheel in better condition than the current one.

I will be looking for a wine deflector, fitted mats, maybe your hardtop. How much do you want for it? I'm originally from Sussex so a trip back from Dorset would not be a problem.

Thanks

Have you still got the underbonnet reservoir for the windscreen washers? Ours has broken off from the fixing bracket. :(

I don't think it had headlight washers. If it did then no luck I'm afraid.

Do you mean the metalwork that runs between the wheel arches? If so yes.

If you mean the trim that fits in the bottom of the door reveal then no, sorry.

Thanks Paul, The water bottle arrived today, unfortunately, it's the wrong one. Our bottle is located on the bulkhead on the rear of the engine bay. :( However we will probably put it on Ebay.
