Hi James- will do but you are third in line at the moment..

Boysie- yes it is a real bargain but I just wanted it gone and didn't want to flaff around with all the others at the higher prices. It does look brilliant on the car- I'm beginning to regret it already!

Mine hangs in a bag in the garage
Searched high and low for an arctic silver, drove miles to collect
fitted new fixing as it had none
I thought it would be a good idea to have one
One day "i might sell the car" and it would help the sale
most buyers dont want them
"N0 SPACE"

Damn that was cheap and near to me as well: I paid £450 just for the hardtop (with scratches and needing a respray hence it was cheap) plus another £200 for the fittings kit.

The plan was to leave the hardtop on when the car is parked outside my house and take it off at the weekend. However I can't lift it alone and I seem to have a leak that I can't stop, so I've left it off for the last 3 weeks. The soft top is watertight and I can lower it on the rare occasion I fancy a drive and it's not raining. Not sure what I'm going to do come winter though if I can't solve the leak...no point putting it on then finding I have a mouldy interior come spring. :head:

Now Sold! I'm pleased it went to a forum member. Now I just need to work out how to take the fixing kit off my car!

You can adjust the hardtop at both windscreen points and also at both locking points. I'm sure if you use the search facility you will find detailed instructions.

It's leaking at the back, but no amount of adjusting seems to help (rubber seal is intact and grips evenly across the rear of the car), hence it's currently left off the car defeating the object of buying it in the first place (to protect the soft top from potentially being damaged by weather, bird poo or vandals). FWIW I don't like driving with it on as it makes the car just seem like a lowered saloon and I can't hear the engine note half as well with the roof off or even with the soft top up.
