Hi folks

Things appear to be going well on eBay with most of the items being watched and some offers coming in.

Not on eBay yet (not taken the pics) will be a bright red hardtop in good condition complete with cover and ALL the fittings including brackets, trim, screws, bolts and even the Heated rear window wiring and switch.

in a home made crate

The buyer paid for the shipping, cost more than the hardtop

Gutted! Was top bidder on the headlights, side repeaters and rear lights until last minute and couldn't get online in time to up the bid. Anyway, if anything falls through I'd still be interested

Well I outbid you on the rear lights a couple of minutes from the end and then got beaten in the last second, presumably by someone using some sort of software to do the bidding for them. Oh well.

I wasn't after any of the lights but watched the last few minutes out of interest and noticed that several bids were going in, in the last second. My offspring have told me this "bidding" software is readiliy available online and you just give it your ebay item number, set your maximum price (which you can also do with ebay) and it does the rest. Meanwhile you can come offline and go down the pub.

My guess is that it would be useful where everyone is holding back and waiting to get last minute bids in. The rear lights looked like they were going that way with no bids at all going in for days.
