OEM Z3 Car Cover

Post by StuP »

I have an original BMW cover for the Z3 for sale. It's barely been used so is in very good condition. It can be seen in the photo set below:

Open to offers :D

The cover is creased as it's been rolled up and unused for a while, condition is excellent

Hi StuP - Sorry for some daft questions but i may be interested. How is the cover retained on the car? Are there tapes or is it elasticated? Presumably it's waterproof and for outdoor use? Does it have any holes or tears or damaged?

Hi Olly

It's elasticated at the front and back underneath the bumpers. It is also elasticated around the wing mirrors (the mirrors go into little pockets), for extra security I guess. It's made for the car so is a perfect tight fit. Yes, it's for outdoor use so is waterproof and has no holes or tears :)

Why do you not use it? I'm in 2 minds about covering the car but part of me wished I did when it snowed and I really only use it at weekends.

Olly,if I didn't already have a quality full cover,I'd have been interested in this myself.I've had a full cover for around 18 months and wouldn't be without one.Not great in really windy weather but I haven't a garage so I live with it not being perfect but it's money well spent imho.
