There were copies (Chris has a set on his coupe). I think they were made in the USA plastic but so far as I know there were issues with distortion and they are NLA.

From memory there is a current thread on the american forums about replicas but as I have a genuine set I've never bothered reading it

You could also search for the famous shed fire and have some fun at how upset our american cousins were at getting ripped off by someone on this site :D There was a guy who used to make fibreglass ones in his shed, at least I think he did flippers, may have just been spoilers. My memory really is failing or more likely its swamped with 993 information lol.

I had a set of those US plastic replica ones on mine for a while. They came from Motion Motorsport and I had no issues with distortion.

Unfortunately it looks like motion Motorsport don't have any anymore.

I'm thinking I'm going to have to make my own, or butcher a pair of similar and then reshape them. Anybody seen anything resembling the flippers on other cars? M3? Other cars??

Where from? BMW? That ebay link??

Problem is I can't justify the cost. What do you recon circa £250??? There is soooo much else I could do with that money.

Plus the chances of ripping them off on something, or having them stolen. Hahaha (paranoia)

I'd go to around £80, but even then.........for 2 pieces of plastic!!! Geeee!! I'm a industrial/product designer by trade, and have worked as a civil engineer for 7 years. I must be able to make these out of something and save some money!!! :squeeze:
