FS: Z3 2.0 BLUE Project £1350 ONO

For Sale, Blue 2.0 Z3 52000 miles, starts first time every time, paint work in very good condition, no rust.
as it says car is a project for someone or could be broken up as the car has many extras which are worth a lot when broken and sold separate.

1. Needs Bonnet Catches
2.Quarter panel needs work, rubbed down and resprayed
3. Needs passenger door mirror
4.Drivers seat base torn, passenger side in very good condition
5.No MOT and Tax

Would pass mot as no faults with the car whatsoever apart from the passenger mirror missing

Good points of the car is that the paint work is in good condition, the car has 18" M alloys, Electric hood, Heated seats all working. Tread on the tyres are very good, new discs and pads all round. The car has only done 52000 miles and is a good runner, starts first time, every time. Nice little project for someone in a very nice colour.

That's really cheap. Why not get it Mot'd - it'll make it worth more or at the very least make it easier to sell? The passenger wing mirror is not an MOT fail.

How come its got a prefacelift rear end if its a 2.0?

front of the engine block looks very much like the 2.8,not like the 2.0 six and its not face lift.

DVLA have it down as a 1999cc (2.0 l) first registered 16/12/1999. If you assume this is correct, it has had pre-facelift 2.8 rear panels, boot lid and lights retrofitted. If you assume this is wrong, then it has had headlights with white indicators, a facelift centre console and a facelift rear storage box lid fitted retrofitted. Either way, it is not as it left the factory - not that that is a big deal. To clarify, you need to check the build date on the sticker in the right (left when viewed from the front) suspension turret (it is obscured by the windscreen washer fluid bottle in the pic) and put the last 7-digits of your VIN into either realoem.com or bmwfans.info to see what model it comes back with.

i have a aug 99 2.0l and the front of the block i double vanos ,the one for sale is single. and the washer bottle is at the rear on the 2.0 and in the front on the pre face lift 2.8,so it looks like a 2.8 to me?
