Prealpina boot rack for sale

I am selling a Prealpina locking boot rack, model no. 10155.

It has adjustable legs to fit the Z3 and twelve other convertables.

Nice looking bit of kit.
Does it really fit without marking paintwork?

Yes, the feet are lined with high density foam to protect the painwork, so leave no metal or rubber marks.

And with just the rack fitted (i.e. no luggage) can you still open the boot lid with the hood up?

Hmmm, difficult one that. I bought the rack a couple of years ago for a european trip which never materialised, I fitted the rack and then hung it up in my garage and I cannot remember what it was like in that position, although I do not remember thinking 'that is going to be a problem'.
I dont know if anyone else has this rack fitted that can answer this question.
I have googled some pics and this one gives a side view of a z3 with a prealpina rack fitted, sorry I can not be more helpful but if you pass Gloucester with work etc you are welcome to take it away and try it for size.

This is a bit of a long shot but I am driving North on the M5 tomorrow en route to Yorkshire.
Probably passing Gloucester around 11.30.
Are you around either then or on the return leg on Monday, probably mid afternoon?
Monday would suit us better and we can be more flexible on time.
