WANTED URGENTLY: Exhaust for 1.9 Z3

Post by Yazta »

Hey all,

I've got a 1998 1.9 Z3 and need a new cat back exhaust. Does anyone have a good condition preowned one available asap? If not, does anybody know the best place with the best price?

Thanks.

Removed mine earlier this year but unfortunately too late - scrapped it.

Your part number should be 18101433388.

Could try ebay - there are a few going at the moment (£120 to £200) but it is always a gamble on quality and if they will actually fit.
Eurocarparts - they don't have any on their on-line catalogue but thay should be able to source one at a reasonable price.
Others (including myself) have gone for stainless options with either Cobra or Longlife - there has been plenty of recent discussion on the forum for these, but for a SS cat back expect to pay between £325 and £400.

Good Luck

If you have the M44 1.9 this might be interesting. If it is an OE rear section as it claims (it looks very similar) it would cost around £600 from BMW and should last 10-years +
