Ouch that seems high !!!

I don't think it's too bad. Think they are a lot more new.
Wish I spoke French!

That is the lesser-spotted Hamann hardtop - with the humps.
A real bargain if you have an Estoril Z3 and just happen to be travelling through France! You could probably haggle a discount too.

That is an absolute bargain! Recently one was bought new here on the forum...Cost as much in £'s and that was unpainted and needed some "fitting" to get it right!!
I think there's several members will be speaking fluent French in a day or two...it's right up his street to have one of those...

1800 euros - £1500... not much difference
Re: Hamann hardtop in Estoril Blue
Not sure you get much use out of any hardtop ! mine is on but the car is in the garage and when you get the odd sunny day during the winter months I wish it was off Then no point at all having them on in the summer !! I guess if your car is your daily ride then they might be worth it but a weekend car then definitely not !

I dont think anyone should buy this in Uk. They are nothing special and its a lot of money. Plus as Woody says it would just be stuck in the garage anyways.
Z3M with a few mods...and a little bit more power
Re: Hamann hardtop in Estoril Blue
and then yours would no longer be the only UK one..... 'cos after all, there is nothing else individual about your run-of-the-mill, standard, out-of-the-factory V8 monster..... is there?Deano1712 wrote:I dont think anyone should buy this in Uk. But I like your reasoning..
Z3 2.8 Progress Journal (Mine)
Z3 1.9 Sport Progress Journal (Wifey's)
I have an element of 'M-styling' on my car, If that's a good enough reason for the manufacturers to adorn a 320 with the M badge, then its certainly a good enough reason for me..

Can I buy yours for £500 then Deano?Deano1712 wrote:I dont think anyone should buy this in Uk. They are nothing special and its a lot of money. Plus as Woody says it would just be stuck in the garage anyways.
Seriously speaking, I would love to have the Hamann hardtop, but on the days I even want to drive my Zed, I want the top-down experience, which makes the expensive hardtop a bit pointless... Some people who use their Zeds a lot all year might find the hardtop worth £1500.

Quite remarkable...you don't see one for years, then suddenly they're becoming quite common....sorry Deano...almost common...
