Designed or not designed, that is the question.

Re: FRONT & REAR MUDFLAPS
They are pretty close to OEM in general appearance, and at the price, might be worth a look at fitting...and he does specifically mention Z's... ??
Re: FRONT & REAR MUDFLAPS
I been thinking about a set but at that money I'd be put off. There very cheap and I doubt any good. I would rather spend a bit more and get something better.

Re: FRONT & REAR MUDFLAPS
They are the ones PCSAM and I bought ex Ireland some years ago I think...Perhaps Sam will come along and tell us...If they are, then I can say they aren't bad. The rubber they are made from is reasonably flexible, and they do adopt the body shape of the Z3 rear fenders. As I recall, they also fit the wheel arch line fairly tightly, but not 100% and some effort was required to get it to fit absolutely flush. But then, I've also had a set of OEM rear flaps, and they weren't much better in terms of a "perfect" fit. I removed the OEM ones simply because I found they were a trap for dust etc, which when it became wet turned to mud, which was bound to start a rusty spot somewhere in the sills...Also, with the lowered suspension, I found they were catching on speed bumps and getting damaged...I refurbed them and they're somewhere in the UK now...
Re: FRONT & REAR MUDFLAPS
I did email the company you mentioned Barry, twice in fact, but they never replied

Re: FRONT & REAR MUDFLAPS
..Are you referring to the company which Sam and me got the flaps from a couple of years back? I also tried without success...but as I mentioned, these on eBay look very similar...hard to recall actually...Sam may still have the set he bought originally.
Re: FRONT & REAR MUDFLAPS
Yes, the one in Ireland. I may just buy some and see what happens

Re: FRONT & REAR MUDFLAPS
You could PM PCSAM...ask him if he still has his set...although he may have sold them with his previous Z3...But worth asking for some pics of the fit...I know he did take some at the time..
Re: FRONT & REAR MUDFLAPS
they do look like the ones we got a wile ago Barry ........ I don't have the pics of them any more but remember they fitted on a pre facelift car so the rears will have to be different to them

Thanks Sam...The guys must pay their money and take their chances...I think we've given them an option they weren't aware of before. As they say..you can take the horse to the water...
Re: FRONT & REAR MUDFLAPS
I bought a set of these REAR guards:
http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/190977845084? ... 1439.l2649
I've not fitted them yet but i removed them from the packing and pushed them up to the rear bumper and I've got to say that the curvature is a perfect match for a pre-face lift 2.8
Obviously some chopping of the guard to do where it fixes on the inner wheel arch though
