After a year of Zed ownership it's time to move on, we'll soon need more than 2 seats and I can't justify having the Zed as a second car unfortunately.
So, the detail, she's a topaz blue 2.2 with matching hardtop. I've got to admit to loving how different the car looks with the hardtop on and it's so nice in Winter!
Currently got 92k miles and this will increase.
This car has been good as gold since I've had her, the only issue was a corroded rubber boot behind the airbox, replaced it with new item and no problems since.
The good bits and things I've done:
- seat belt guides replaced
- heater bulbs replaced
- footwell lighting
- short, heavy gearstick
- 20mm rear spacers added
- aerial grommit changed (source of a leak when I bought the car)
- diff oil changed
- rocker cover gasket replaced
- spark plugs changed
- sale includes my homemade wind deflector (If you want it!)
- replaced original BMW stereo for JVC unit with Bluetooth and USB port, MUCH better sound
- silver gills added (can be restored to original if the buyer wishes)
- the 2.2 engine sounds amazing, I'm really going to miss that!
- second set of wheels (pictured) look much better than the current Winter ones I have on (happy to switch them over for buyer although 2 of the tyres were pretty much expired by the time I switched to Winter wheels)
- great service history, I will do an oil and filter change for the buyer before sale
- MOT good until Sept 24th 2014
- black-out film on rear indicators, makes the rear wider and lower looking
The bad bits:
- usual stone chips on bonnet
- door dings
