Anybody got preferably 4 dash blanks for sale I'll pay handsomely for an envelope with a first class stamp on it to go my way!
Re: WTB dash blanks
You can buy them from the dealer fairly inexpensively Marty. I'll try dig up the part number for you shortly.

That'd 've great David then I'll know the exact part number.
Although I spoke to bmw closest to me and they were looking at 8 quid each... I thought that was a bit much for a little rectangle of plastic.

The part number I have written down at home is 61318410677.
Hope this helps!

I bought the 3 blanks that cover the bolts on the front edge of the dashboard from the local dealer in 2010 and details on the invoice are:
Part No 51458399931 (Black) Total for 3: £11.53 (incl VAT)

Re: WTB dash blanks
There are definitely two sizes of blank on the pre-facelift. Not sure about the facelift.
BMWFans lists the following part numbers:
64118400710 - qty 1 front
51162492136 - qty 5 front
51168400712 - qty 4 front + qty 3 rear
None of which match those given so far!
The one I have listed above as "rear" is strange, as the plate I gave to bertijaffa last week clearly had the centre hole larger than the outside two, and the blank wouldn't fit, so there must be another part number for the larger rear one.
Cheers R.

Re: WTB dash blanks
Just away at the moment but will look later - must admit I hadn't noticed a size difference (not helping that comment is it!)
Maybe the reason is that they are always expecting the alarm LED in the centre space?
