I have an element of 'M-styling' on my car, If that's a good enough reason for the manufacturers to adorn a 320 with the M badge, then its certainly a good enough reason for me..

.... personally I think the storage net is useful, and would have liked to have seen 2 of them fitted low down behind the seats against the rear wall That space is sort-of wasted without something like this to contain anything placed there. It would certainly prevent anything getting under the seats if it was placed into such a facility. Also, when the seat is relclined, that area is always left vacant... I would fit them with the bottom of the net frame just above the floor on both sides.... useful for an umbrella, flashlight or other such item which would otherwise need to be simply dropped on the floor...In fact, I may be in the market for a couple of them Andy... if you come across any at the same good price...

I like this idea too.... Apologises in advance for pinching it ! Infact, I bet on ebay there will be larger nets (like the one that goes across the back seats in our lass' Kia.... Obviously not that big but why stop at a small net when a there is such a big space there... size matters

.... plus I can finally be happy for having little legs, means my chair is further forward

maybe something like this?

or this velcro one?

Or cheaper here:

http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/BMW-Genuine-I ... 1472491097

Cooper BMW list them at £13.50 new - Barry, have you tried a BMW dealer in Jo'burg to see how much they are there? Might that be cheaper than buying from the UK?

... I'll ask them, but won't hold my breath... Last time I asked them for a cruise control interface cable, and they told me they had to order from Germany... 6 weeks later, they hadn't had a reply from Germany to confirm it was still available... so I cancelled the order, and managed to get one sent out by one of the forum members... Had it here in a week !
They're full of c--p here....

Picking up on Southernboys idea about the spare storage space behind the seats I pulled forward the drivers seats and there are two blanking discs in the back of the seat. Before I prise one off, anyone any idea what they sre for. I am thinking that if they are a couple of screws underneath they could be used to attach a storage type device.

... it's a game played by two teams of 11 men... during which they try to retain a ball...only surrendering it by passing it by a guy standing in front of a net... and inbetween, they thump the crap out each other.... it's a game though... :?

I've been think of doing something like this myself to relieve the pressure on the tunnel cargo net which has too much stuff in it. One question I have, how much clearance is there behind that bulkhead to the fuel tank as I wouldn't of course want to damage the tank in any way?
Think those Suzuki ones look quite neat.

The carpet backing is about 50mm thick foam... so you need to use the type of screws that Bertiejaffa has used to mount the Suzy ones... Personally, I think they're better than the BMW ones...

Yep, used the ones that come with it, good little screws, plenty of grip but nowhere near long enough to do any damage.... plus, unless you remove the seats then theres no way you could use anything electrical to screw them in with either - I had to use a little stumpy screw driver. For £11 each they're a star buy
