WANTED: looking for a 2.8/3.0

Hi guys. I've browsed these forums for over a year but only just joined. Recently sold my 1.9 zed with the view of getting a 2.8/3.0 but the 3 I've been to see have been junk. Desperate to get one asap, so who's selling, put me out of my misery I'm missing my zed. I'm in Glasgow Scotland, but willing to travel. Let me know, cheers

One just went off Pistonheads - Grey 2002 3.0 litre, 40,000 miles £7k. Looked great - by the time I'd worked myself up to it, debated £7k for a 13 year old car and convinced the wife, it went - literally missed it by 2 hours. Still, it convinced me that people will pay that for them, so worth it. Anyone on here buy it? I think it's just a case of waiting and looking for one that looks and feels right - mileage, history, owners etc. - there is a lot of grot out there, we just get a bit impatient because they are so good
