Dont think these are available any longer through the dealer network. In the UK at least....

The M part is very different from the standard and fits in an entirely different place. Mine was playing up when I bought the car and I bought one from a dealer last year for about £100. No trouble to get just expensive. However once I had cleaned up all the connections (it is in a wheel arch) it worked fine again. I still have the brand new one...... But am hanging on to it atm. Try cleaning. The sender is very "solid state" there's really very little that can go wrong with a lump of brass with two spade terminals on it!!

I had a faulty sender on my first ///M.

Complete ball ache to get at and 5 times the price of a none ///M one to do the same job

mine would not clean up as the contacts had corroded so badly. The dealer supplied a new one FOC under warranty though.

I would not mind but when working they are not that great anyway :head:
