WANTED: ABS Pump 34.51-1164896

Post by mrscalex »

For a 1999 1.9 M44.

I hopefully only need the module (mine has an error 71). So must be code free before removal from car.

Happy to take the pump too if cheap enough.

Thanks

Is this part no. for the pump or the controller? I've tried putting the number in RealOEM to see what other (if any) models it was fitted to as the Z3 shares components with the E36/E46 series but it does not recognise the number.

34.51-1164896 is the pump.

34.51-1164897 is the module.

I think it was superceded with a different part number which is how it's shown on realoem. 34511165052 & 34516756289 respectively.

As the most likely source is off a car being broken then I thought it was better to refer to it by original part numbers.

It was used on E36/E46 too but I'd prefer it off a Z3 in case I can't re-code it.

I'm planning on removing my ABS pump at some point in the near future as I don't want it in for racing. Its from a 2.8ltr presume same component?

There was at least one other part number fitted and possibly others. You would need to check what part number is on the unit. It's easier to see the part number on the pump body rather than the module (they seem to be consecutive anyway) due to access. You may have to wipe away the grime to see the label on the top of the unit.
