BMW Z3 3.0 W Reg £5750

Post by Howi »

Reluctantly I am selling my Z3 3.0. Current mileage is just under 79K. It's Black and has the following factory spec. Heated leather sports seats, Aircon, Passenger airbag, Computer, Headlight washers, Roll over hoops, white indicators. It also has a 6 CD player and 18" Alpina alloys, rear window blanket, wind deflector and tonneau cover. MOT 'til 01/08. 2 keys. As you will see from the pictures the car is in fantastic condition for it's age. I previously ran my own Valeting and Detailing company, so I've kept the paintwork and interior in excellent condition. The car had a full service in July 15, but has only covered a few hundred miles since. I'm near Horsham in West Sussex. PM me for any more info or if you are interested. £5750 ovno

Stunning example of a 3.0.... Definitely worth the asking price judging from your pics.

Thanks guys, I've seen some silly prices around, hoping this isn't unreasonable. Still turns heads as a 16 year old car. Daughters aren't happy, it's the only thing that's cool about their Dad.

Listen to your daughters, keep the car.

Unless you're replacing it with something cooler.

Hey Howi, I used to live near you, in West Chiltington, before I moved to Norfolk. My band 'Cut Loose!' played many gigs in The Hen and Chicken up to 2012. Did you ever get to see us?

:cheers

I'll be looking for a 3.0 later this year or more likely early next year. My budget was £4k. But if I had £5,750 to spend I'd be beating a rapid path to your door. Though for sporting reasons I'd still have to try and knock you down a bit :)

Seriously, a great looking car. Don't go accepting any silly offers for it. And if you'd like to take your daughter's advice and keep it until the spring I might even have saved up more pennies to extend my budget. That's a serious offer if you want to PM me. Happy to have a day out in your neck of the woods and come and have a look and to see if we can work anything out.

Always happy to try and help with spares :)

Just goes to show how unrealistic the pricing on some cars is at the moment...................this is an absolute bargain at the asking price and still it's not sold! We were lucky enough to find a one previous owner 2001 in black with the hardtop for under 4K last year (showing 30k more miles than the one offered), we kept the 2.8 as it really didn't seem worth selling for the present price's but have to say the 3.0 makes the old Z3 seem a little sluggish :D

I simply don't understand why the Z3 is still so undervalued when you look at the prices being asked for it's rivals. Great news if you are buying, not so good if selling. I briefly flirted with the idea of selling my 2.0 but, having seen what sort of money is being asked for comparative cars, can't bring myself to accept such poor money for what is a truly outstanding car. The rivals can't hold a candle to these cars in terms of build and materials quality. For the money, I would rather keep it and use it up myself and with only 63k miles on it, thats a lot of useful life left in it yet.

Lovely Z3 and whilst we all like to think these cars are worth 8 to 9k good luck in trying to actually get that. When I put mine up for sale at 3500 with 26K on the clock which I thought was a bargain I was inundated with offers of half that amount which I found quite insulting. End of the day most people see these as old cars with potential expensive problems and will offer what they think its worth. If lucky you will find an enthusiast willing to part with the cash.

I would keep it and even if not used store it away until people realise the true value in years to come as they get rarer.

Tim.

Apparently dear Monica was dyslexic, as Bill Clinton had sent her a memo saying.... ' Hold my calls and then sack my cook.' :?
