2000 2.8 BMW Z3 now SOLD (Hardtop & fitting kit available)

Post by Grandadg90 »

Hi everyone, here is my Z3, which I am selling. She is a 2000 model with 53k miles on the clock, varified by VOSA.

Recent work, oil service, fuel filter and brake fluid change at my local BMW specialist. They gave the car a thorough look over and we're very complimentary about the condition of the car underneath. Only advisory was a front bush, which they said wouldn't need doing for a while. It's also had a new throttle cable (common error). They suggested the car must have been stored in a heated garage as there were no signs of rust, all brake pipes were in very good condition.

The car does have a hard top with heated rear screen, servicing wise there are 7 stamps in the book. A mixed bag in terms of dealer/specialist and local garages. The previous owner owned the car for 7 years and had it serviced at a local garage but only had it stamped twice in his possession.

It is 2000 car, so a Facelift aswell. It has 4 previous owners. Oh it has the sports genuine alloys too, all tyres are in very good condition with 5mm+ remaining. Brake discs and pads have all plenty of life.

Price £6495 with the hardtop
£5750 without the hardtop.

I will get more shots up as the sun is out and the sky is blue. Roof is most definitely down.

I don't know why you've blanked out the registration number - most potential buyers would want to check it on the MOT website and HPI it. Make it easy for people to buy from you :)

I would also add the last 7 digits of the VIN number then the spec can be checked at BMW vin finder.

Looks a nice car and I am very interested to see if anyone is prepared to buy it at that price. I think the hard top is worth £600 and the fitting kit is worth £500 by it self looking at recent pricing.

Good luck with your sale.

I've got a viewing for the weekend and the chap is not wanting the hardtop.

Therefore the hardtop may well be sold desperately, with the fitting kit and the rear heated screen switch.

Car is now sold, thanks for all the enquiries.

Hardtop and fitting kit still available, as the buyer did not want these.

Can I ask what it sold for without the hard top? Just to measure market pricing

She went for £5000, the rear screen still needed doing so I didn't mind letting her go a bit cheaper.

Nice chap who bought it though.

Thanks for that lightning.

Surplus to requirements, I have a genuine BMW fitting kit, including all screws and the heated rear screen button.

BMW genuine fitting kit £500
Hard top £500, will need painting though.
